The virtual Training Seminar on Parliamentary Responsibilities held its last day and closing ceremony on 6 November 2020. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr Srun Dara, Deputy Secretary General of the National Assembly of Cambodia and Her Excellency Mrs Nguyen Tuong Van, AIPA Secretary General.
Originally focusing on Cambodia and its place in Southeast Asia and in the world, the Parliamentary Institute of Cambodia’s atlas series has since expanded its scope. Now, in 2020, we are pleased to present, “An Atlas of Parliamentary Diplomacy”, a two part volume.
The Parliamentary Institute of Cambodia organized the virtual Training Seminar on Parliamentary Responsibilities that will run for five weeks from October 5 to November 6, 2020. During its opening session, 65 delegates from ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Member Parliaments were in attendance, including those from, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
On 21 September 2020, PIC and former trainees of the Fiscal Analysis Training Program (FACT) attended the virtual “Cambodian Day” event which was organized by Sida in Stockholm for Swedish authorities working in Cambodia, especially with Partnership for Accountability and Transparency (PAT) partners.
